This project was a 30 million gallon per year automated pre-treatment and transesterification process facility, converting soybean oil to bio-diesel. The facility includes rail and truck receiving and load-out, 2 million gallons finished product storage capacity, process buildings, site utilities – steam generation and cooling tower, fire protection loop, hazardous material (Methanol) safety systems, and employee facilities. It utilized 3D design and coordination.
