Ryan & Associates was chosen by Kraus Anderson for this project as a part of the design-build project team. The project consisted of a six-story hotel with approximately 200 guest rooms, a convention center, a casino, and a multi-level parking structure.
Water source heat pumps were utilized for the mechanical system with a cooling tower and boilers as the condenser water source. In addition, the exterior concrete contained more than 15,000 sq. ft. of snowmelt. The schedule on this project was 16 months with a mandatory opening of Christmas 2008, which was accomplished successfully with no delays.
